AVI BioPharma is focused on the discovery and development of RNA-based drugs utilizing proprietary derivatives of its antisense chemistry (morpholino-modified osphorodiamidate oligomers or PMOs) that can be applied to a wide range of diseases and genetic disorders through several district mechanisms of action.

The Challenge

AVI BioPharma required the development of P&IDs for the Medium Scale Production Facility, an address of the drying of specific critical process streams to isolate intermediates and/or products, and process design assistance to determine how best to scale-up and optimize the AVI processes.

Harris Group provided a conceptual study that provided the approach to meet the goals of the project.
