Tom Davis, Gary Norman and Carlos Rollan of Harris Group Inc. are leading all-day "Competitive Power College" courses on distributed generation and combined-cycle power at Power-Gen International 2002 in Orlando on December 8th and 9th, 2002 at the Orange County Convention Center. The Competitive Power College predates the Power-Gen convention December 10-12 (Harris Group is booth 3580).
"Distributed Generation: From Inception to Interconnection" will be presented Sunday, December 8, 2002. It will cover some of the various distributed generation technologies and their application to on-site small power production.
"Combined Cycle for Power Developers" will be presented on Monday, December 9. It will cover the items that are necessary to permit, build and operate a successful combined cycle power plant, providing an introduction to the issues required to work through this process.
Harris Group's Davis, Norman and Rollan are based in the company's Jacksonville, Fla. office. They each have over 25 years of experience in power engineering. Davis and Norman have received bachelor's and master's degrees in mechanical engineering from the University of South Florida. Rollan has his degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Florida.
