Cheyenne Plains Compressor Station

The overall project involved the detail design and construction of an amine gas treating facility, compressor stations, and 380 miles of 36-inch diameter pipeline. Harris Group was responsible for the detail design of the compression and amine treating plant. The scope included a station addition at the Cheyenne Station with a new Caterpillar 3608/Arial JGCD-4 compressor/engine package. The new Cheyenne Plains Compressor Station included two Solar Taurus 70 gas turbine/compressor packages, inlet metering and flow control from three different pipeline sources, control/auxiliary building, and associated utilities. Harris Group was also awarded the detail design for Phase 2 of this Project.
