Class 7 Production Expansion

Harris Group worked closely with our customer's staff to define all area requirements, provide detail design when necessary, provide documentation, procurement services, scope development, cost estimating, scheduling, and construction management. This support included providing plant layout and material handling equipment specifications for several areas including the frame, axle, cab trim, and truck assembly areas.
In order to compress the project schedule, Harris Group engineers worked closely with suppliers, fabricators, and contractors to provide turnkey solutions for many parts of the retrofit. Harris Group built a supplier team that utilized the best capabilities of each team member to maximize efficiency, reduce costs, and minimize lead times.
Due to efficient coordination between Harris Group, our customer, and several contractors, the line was up and running ahead of schedule.
