Account Manager/Project Manager

Harris Group, Inc., a national consulting firm specializing in engineering and architecture, is seeking qualified candidates to fill the position of Account Manager/Project Manager in the Portland, Oregon office.

This position offers opportunity for growth in a new market and group within the company.

Description and Responsibilities:

· Serve as an Account Manager/Project Manager on small to mid size design projects
· Develop business with existing and new water/wastewater accounts
· Provide management oversight for water and wastewater projects
· Identify opportunities. Pursue and secure contracts.
· Prepare, direct, and supervise the development of proposals, presentations and web materials.
· Optimize existing work order contracts. Convert potential contract capacity into work orders.
· Define scope of work; assume budget responsibilities; prepare and support the negotiation of contract and subcontract documents; develop schedules; assign tasks to project staff; approve invoices to clients and monitor collection; and, complete other duties as required to ensure quality and profitability.

Qualifications:
· BS or MS Degree in Civil/Mechanical/Structural/Electrical/Controls engineering or related field with Oregon PE
· A minimum of 7 years of experience in project or program management with experience in water and wastewater highly desired.
· Business development skills such as customer service, presentation, and proposal preparation required.
