The Atlanta office is currently accepting resumes for an Electrical Engineer with experience in a design engineering role as well as directing work of electrical designers for industrial, manufacturing, and facility projects.

The successful candidate will prepare proposals; establish and manage design budget and schedule; develop initial concepts and scope of work; prepare reports and technical evaluations; perform calculations; lead detailed design development and supervise designers; prepare specifications; provide quality checks; prepare construction cost estimates, and provide engineering support during construction. The engineer will coordinate with other disciplines and interface directly with the project manager, construction personnel, and the customer.

Additional requirements include experience with medium and low voltage power distribution systems, short circuit analysis, load flow, protective device and arc flash studies; lighting and lighting control systems; grounding; motor controls and energy conservation practices; minimum of 5 to 10 years experience in electrical engineering. Also required is a Georgia P.E. license or ability to obtain via reciprocity; strong communication skills; and basic knowledge of Word, Excel and Powerpoint.

The following experience is desirable, however, not essential: Power monitoring and control systems, power quality experience, hazardous classified area experience, PLC control systems (hardware specification and programming), maintenance engineering/supervision or general manufacturing experience; field experience in checkout, start-up and commissioning of retrofit industrial projects and project management or plant engineer experience in the pulp and paper industry.
