Modular Air Handling Unit Detailed Design

Confidential Client | Aloha, OR

Project Overview

Harris Group provided comprehensive multi-discipline engineering services for the installation of a 6th MAH to support tool installations at our client's campus in Aloha, Oregon.

Project Highlights

Structural Support: Designed a steel support frame above the loading dock, incorporating seismic, wind, and gravity loads.

Support Features: Included access stairs, a jib crane for material lifting, guard rails, and access grating around the MAH-6 platform.

Foundation Design: Created foundations that avoided interference with existing structures, with penetrations detailed for seismic separation.

Duct Support: Supported supply and return ducts from the steel frame and existing building columns.

Deliverables: Provided stamped construction drawings, structural calculations, 3D models, coordination models, and relevant project documentation for permitting.

Throughout the project, we actively participated in weekly CSA meetings and coordinated closely with the client to ensure precise placement and seamless integration into the existing facility.
